Opening conference of the project “COOLture is COOL”

On 22 September 2022, the opening conference of the project “COOLture is COOL. Improving access to culture and art in the Municipality of Jakubów and the Municipality of Stanisławów”, which is
co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.

The meeting was attended by representatives of project partners from Poland: Ms Hanna Wocial – Mayor of the Jakubów Municipality (Project Leader), Ms Kinga Anna Sosińska – Mayor of the Stanisławów Municipality, Piotr Hryniszyn – President of the Grupa Szkoleniowo Doradcza Europlus Sp. z o.o., as well as invited guests: parliamentarians, local government officials, representatives of local and regional cultural institutions, representatives of the cultural and creative sector, representatives of education, local media, local artists and creators.

The conference was organised as part of the project’s promotional activities. During the meeting, the general objectives and assumptions of the COOLtura is COOL project, its funding sources were presented, as well as the activities and events that will be implemented during its duration, i.e. 01.09.2022-30.04.2024.

It is worth mentioning that all invited guests, after being acquainted with the assumptions of the project, emphasised the importance of this undertaking for improving access to culture for the inhabitants of the Jakubów Municipality and Stanisławów Municipality, as well as its significance for the socio-economic development of the entire district.
