1. Meetings with Polish culture in Egilsstaðir - a series of thematic lectures/workshops on Polish history and culture for the Icelandic community.
The event will include 6 thematic meetings during which Polish works in areas such as music, literature, art and painting, cultural and historical heritage, cinematography will be presented.
Planned date of the meetings: 2022 (October), 2023 (February, May, September, November), 2024 (March)

2. Publication on the old and contemporary face of Stanislawow
The activity will result in the development of a publication presenting the 500-year history of Stanislaviv. The publication will include, among others, materials coming from both from public archives as well as from private individuals – inhabitants of the Stanisławów municipality who have lived here for generations. The publication will be printed and elegantly bound. It will be a souvenir of the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the town of Stanislawow and will also serve to promote the history, culture and heritage of the town, and heritage of Stanislawow.

3. Publication on the old and contemporary face of Jakubow
The activity will result in a publication presenting the 550-year history of Jakubow. The publication will include materials from both from public archives as well as from private individuals – inhabitants of Jakubów Municipality who have lived here for generations. The publication will be printed and elegantly bound. It will be a memento of the celebrations of the 550th anniversary of Jakubów, and will serve to promote the history, culture and heritage of Jakubów.

4. Historical field game on the occasion of the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the town of Stanislawow
The aim of the event is to promote and disseminate knowledge about the history of Stanislavlów. During the game, in addition to participation in great fun it will be possible to learn about the most important events in the history of Stanislawow, important places and people connected with it. There will also be prizes for participants.

5. Jakubów Culinary Picnic
During the event, it will be possible to literally taste regional culture and heritage, not only from the Minsk area (Jakubów and Stanisławów), but also from national minorities: Tatars, Ukrainians and Scandinavian cuisine. During the picnic, regional Rural Housewives’ Circles, representatives of the Tatar minority from the Tatar Cultural Association Foundation, and culinary experts presenting Scandinavian cuisine will present their dishes. There will be a food tasting, culinary workshops for residents, and a culinary competition in which one of the jurors will be a well-known (if only from TV programmes) and respected culinary personality. There will be plenty of attractions for children and young people, e.g.: a rescue and artificial respiration demonstration, cultural animations. It will be a real family celebration.

6. Open-Air Meeting on the Rzadza River in Stanisławów
During the event, the local tradition of drowning garlands will be cultivated. There will be good music, a light show and refreshments for participants.

7. Development and publication of a folder with recipes of regional cuisine.
The publication will contain recipes of traditional dishes, typical of the cuisine of the Minsk area, but also characteristic of the traditions of the Tatar and Ukrainian minorities. There will also be recipes presenting the culinary heritage of Iceland. The folder will be published in digital and printed versions, in Polish, English and Icelandic.

8. Day of Tatar Culture in Stanislawow
During the event it will be possible to learn about the history and cultural heritage of the Tatar minority in Poland. The Tatar Cultural Society Foundation will present a wide range of attractions from the thematic area: music, performing arts, dance, culinary heritage, history and cultural heritage. The Tatar vocal and dance ensemble “Buńczuk” will perform on stage, it will be possible to take part in culinary workshops and taste traditional Tatar dishes, children and young people will be able to watch a performance presenting Tatar fairy tales, it will be possible to attend a lecture on Tatar history and culture and admire handicraft and art characteristic of this national minority that has lived in Poland for centuries.

All are cordially invited to participate in cultural and historical heritage activities and events. In the case of smaller events, e.g. those taking place in a hall, due to a limited number of seats, entrance tickets will be issued.
The project is primarily aimed at the residents of the Jakubów and Stanisławów municipalities, but residents of other municipalities may also take part in activities and events.
